Roy is up early and getting ready for nothing but vacation time. He’s missing his computer at home. He usually sits there for hours. We are up before the sun rises but there should be no rush.
He does use my Chromebook a little bit.
We do have a good thing to do later today. We are meeting Mick and Anita Ayers in Bluffton at Cahill’s Market, Chicken Kitchen for lunch. For now I am doing laundry and organizing. I couldn’t find the detergent but Roy found it inside the washer. They are not level and it had fallen over the side.
Roy did go check out the weather and it looks good.
We took a walk to the front desk. On the way to the Lodge we passed one of the gas grill picnic areas scattered around the resort. You can get grill implements from the front desk to use if you choose to grill.
In most of our trips here we stayed in that building which has underground parking and an elevator. With ongoing renovations they are at 100% with some buildings out of service. We love the main building the Live Oak Lodge. I got some coffee while I was there.

Lunch today was in Bluffton at Cahill’s Chicken Kitchen. This is always on our schedule but there are many places we will miss this trip because we have things to do and often we don’t eat a real dinner if we have a big lunch. We’d have to stay a month to hit all the places we originally wanted to.
This is my delicious lunch that I am usually dreaming of at home.

We may not get to everything on our list but we are hitting the most important ones.
Roy wanted to go straight home and there he stayed until he asked me what I wanted for dinner. I said I would like some soup and he said he would too but there is very little choice for him. He wouldn’t eat the Italian Wedding soup at Giuseppe’s and he would never eat any seafood chowder so – Back to Kroger’s. No picture is necessary for that. We bought 2 more apples and a can of Campbell’s Chicken Noodle soup. We are not going to be having many interesting things to report at night.
